QUARTERHOUSE BAR

The Quarterhouse Team are sorry to announce that from the 23rd December 2011, the Quarterhouse Restaurant will close, although the Bar is remaining open.

However we are delighted to tell you about all the other great places to eat in the Creative Quarter who cater for every taste!

Beano's Vegetarian Cafe is just next door on Tontine Street and offers delicious meat-free meals utilising vegetables, pulses and cheeses, whilst also being able to cater for a vegan diet as well (their vegan chocolate cake is amazing!)

Hallett's Lounge and Restaurant on the Old High Street is the perfect place to grab a pre-theatre supper and a glass of wine. Their varied menu (from sandwiches to full meals) and comfortable surroundings are great for relaxing and enjoying the ambiance of the Creative Quarter

Home Ground is the Quarter's oldest cafe, serving Illy coffee, paninis, sandwiches and tempting homemade cakes. Fully licensed, you can also enjoy a variety of British ales or for the more adventurous, sample some of their flavoured vodkas!

Fresh and Easy is a French patisserie and cafe situated near the top of The Old High Street and their patisserie counter is a work of art. Eclairs, meringues, tarts and slices will all whet your appetite and their savoury menu of traditional French classics and fresh sandwiches add a continental flavour to the Street

Toro Tinto at the top of The Old High Street is a fabulous tapas restaurant - perfect for lunch or dinner, their extensive range of tapas dishes and other Spanish classics are both excellent value for money as well as being extremely tasty!
