On Sale Thursday 22nd September David Lay and Maryanne Traylen of Pavement Pounders CIC are delighted to have been asked to devise and lead the Book Festival guided walks again this year. Charles Dickens’ 200th birthday on 7th February 2012 is a few months away so this year’s walk takes in much local history yet with a decidedly Dickensian flavour. Dickens spent much time in Folkestone and fictionalized it as “Pavilionstone” in his journal “Household Words.” Come and explore both Folkestone and Pavilionstone”
