On Sale Thursday 22nd September A second & final chance to join David Lay and Maryanne Traylen of Pavement Pounders CIC as they lead the Book Festival guided walk. Charles Dickens’ 200th birthday on 7th February 2012 is a few months away so this year’s walk takes in much local history yet with a decidedly Dickensian flavour. Dickens spent much time in Folkestone and fictionalized it as “Pavilionstone” in his journal “Household Words.” Come and explore both Folkestone and Pavilionstone” Meet at Quarterhouse
